Miami Art Week

We invited four emerging artists to create unique works embodying our copy nothing ethos. These one-of-a-kind pieces were expressed through the artists’ own mediums.

The Theory of Colour.
By Ibby Njoya.

Hues in constant motion. An interpretation of Jaguar exuberance. Spatial designer Ibby Njoya shapes and reshapes the landscape with hand painted curved walls, dynamic lighting and generative AI colour palettes. The piece incorporates sound stems from Jaguar Type 00, balanced with Kora, an African harp - a nod to Ibby’s culture.

Strikethrough Convention.
By Campbell Addy x Yagamoto.

Lines through conformity. Everything is subject to change. Artist Campbell Addy and movement director Yagamoto explore the notion of impermanence in their powerful film and installation. Their sequence interprets Jaguar’s Strikethrough motif - a symbol of change. The gallery entrance uses black flooring to create striking reflections, while a four-screen experience amplifies the unfolding narrative of reinvention.

Theatre of Chiaroscuro.
By Patience Harding.

Chiaroscuro. Light and shade as an art form. Spatial designer and creative director Patience Harding invites the audience to feel texture, sound, light and space. Four natural travertine rock installations are carved on the inside to express the negative space within Type 00.
